Overview

    At 08:00 am we leave Marrakech towards Ait Benhaddou cutting through the High Atlas Mountains via a well known and picturesque pass.

    The panoramic views are spectacular as we pass Tizi N’tichka 2260M natural landscapes, traditional villages, and the kasbahs typical of the Higher slopes of the mountains.

    We will stop to visit Telouat Kasbah is a Kasbah along the former route of the caravans from the Sahara over the Atlas Mountains, it was the seat of the El Glaoui family’s power, thus sometimes also called the Palace of Glaoui, and it was built in the 18th and 19th centuries.

    Then we continue towards Ait Benhaddou, a Unesco World Heritage site, and tour its architecturally interesting kasbah set amongst the palms.

What to Expect

    Well, our tour will offer you vary of panoramic views that are fantastic as we pass through Tizi N’tichka (2260M), a natural setting with traditional villages and Kasbahs typical of the mountain’s upper slopes. We will make a halt at Telouet Kasbah, which is located along the ancient route of caravans from the Sahara via the Atlas Mountains, and it was erected in the 18th and 19th centuries and served as the seat of power for the El Glaoui dynasty, it is also known as the Palace of Glaoui. as our excursion continues toward Ait Benhaddou and explores its architecturally significant sites. Aït Benhaddou is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987 is a historic Ighrem or Ksar along the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in Morocco. and it is a must-visit site once in a lifetime.
