Stop At: Abydos, Al Balyana, Sohag Egypt

Pick up from the hotel or boat and go away from Luxor. Travel to Abydos, located 260 km northeast of the city. Observe its renowned temple made by Set I in honor of Osiris. Witness important scenes from the life of Set I and Ramses II as well as the celebrated Royal Lists with names of 77 kings of Egypt from Menes to Set I himself. See depictions of “Mysteries of Osiris” a ceremony that imitated the death and resurrection of God Osiris.

Stop At: Dendera Temple Complex, Qena Egypt

Proceed to Dendera. The Dendera Temple is committed to goddess Hathor and construction started during Nectanebo I's reign. Visit the Temple of Isis, and then leave Dendera behind while heading back to Luxor.
