Overview

    - We begin our day visiting Todi, which is according to an American reserch "The most livable city in the world" or "The ideal city", to admire its treasures: Cisterne Romane, Church of San Fortunato which preserves in the crypt the tomb of Jacopone Da Todi, ceramists’ workshops, and more.
    - Umbria boasts an excellent agricultural production that have made it one of the most appreciated olive oil and wine producer in Italy. We’ll firstly take a visit to the olive oil museum, where this precious product is illustrated through museum objects retracing its history and analyzing its countless virtues. At the end of the museum tour, we’ll enjoy a rich wine tasting and brunch in a prestigious winery, in which Umbria wines and olive oils will be the undisputed protagonists.
    - We dedicate the rest of the day to Perugia. The capital of the region of Umbria, is worth visiting not only for the beauty of its hilltop setting, but also for its fine old buildings.

What to Expect

    - We begin our day visiting Gubbio, one of the oldest Umbrian cities. Here you can breathe history from every stone and many are the traces of its glorious past: the Roman Theater, the Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo which overlooks the city, the Gothic cathedral, the Church of Santa Maria Nuova, Palazzo dei Consoli, home of the Civic Art Gallery where we find the "Tavole Eugubine", 7 bronze tablets very important for the history of the Italic peoples. - You cannot visit Umbria without enjoying its food and wine delights. After the guided visit of Gubbio, we will reach a renowned vineyard and winery where we will discover the deepest secrets of the Umbrian wine tradition. We will have a delicious lunch with Umbrian delicacies and a 360° Wine Tasting. - After lunch, we will have a beautiful horseback ride through the Umbrian valleys surrounded by greenery in contact with a specimen of such rare pride, elegance, strength and intelligence; it cannot be just a sport, but an essential experience.
