Overview

The authentic ‘Proeflokaal’ (Dutch for tasting room/bar) has retained its 17th-century character and product assortment. A great variety of genevers and liqueurs is served here. Among the various liqueurs, you will find many Old Dutch liqueurs such as ‘Volmaakt Geluk’ (Perfect Bliss), ‘Bruidstranen’ (Bride’s Tears) en ‘Hansje in de Kelder’ (Jack in the Cellar). Liqueurs such as ‘De Boswandeling’ (A Walk in the Woods) en de ‘Half en Half’ (Half & Half) have made Wynand Fockink world famous. Next to these delicious liqueurs, genevers and fruit brandies, you can also enjoy some excellent draft beers. The distinctive Proeflokaal that houses a very special collection of antique bottles still maintains the tradition of bowing for the first sip.
