Overview

    A walking tour through Edinburgh's Queer History taking into account locations associated with key figures and the telling of their stories as well as outlining changes in the law and the treatment of members of this community from the 16thC to the present day. The tour will start on the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle and end with a view of the Scottish Parliament and involve walking through parts of the Medieval Old Town and Georgian New Town. Find out what inspired one of the most iconic movie sets of all time, the man who was the real life inspiration for Dorian Gray, the story behind the heartbreaking end to the career of one of our most beloved military heroes and the groundbreaking tale of the female medical pioneers who studied in the city.
