Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at 10.00 am and take you on a tour to the Egyptian Museum where you can explore an extensive collection of 5000 years of art which has been deemed as the largest and most valuable assemblage of Egyptian art in the world. Millions visit Cairo each year just to see these priceless works! The high point for many people is viewing King Tutankhamun's hall with its 6 gold gilded coffins, each one smaller and more elaborately adorned than the preceding one, dominating the main room - while his grand death mask holds pride of place. An additional cost allows access to the Royal Mummies Room, here you can observe mummies belonging to numerous great Egyptian rulers such as Ramses II who constructed both Abu Simbel temples. When your tour concludes, we will escort you back to your hotel.
