Our guide will driver for 50 minutes to the dock. Board a canoe for a 20-minute trip along the river, then stretch your legs on a short walk to a pond and waterfall(depending on weather). Bring a bathing suit if you’d like to swim in the waterfall, which is the perfect place to cool off from the tropical heat. Return to the canoe for the 25-minute ride to an Embera village.
You’ll have time to explore the village, get to know some local people, and learn about life in the Embera community. Sit down to a traditional Embera lunch, then watch a dance that depicts the Embera’s relationship with the natural world. Before departing the village, shop for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs made by the local people. Head back down the river by canoe, and meet the bus for the return trip to Panama City, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel
