Overview

    The Palacio de Las Dueñas, the current residence of the Casa de Alba in Seville, was built in the 15th century, and is historically one of the most important monuments in the city.

    The building itself, which includes Gothic-Mudejar and Renaissance styles, has impressive architectural interest, such as its various gardens and patios with a magical charm.

    In addition to a wonderful collection of paintings, sculptures, tapestries and furniture, it also treasures many family memories, as it is still inhabited, making this Palace a unique and different place to visit.

    Among the most important characters that visit it are: Americo Vespuccio, Marconi, Lord Holland, Cole Porter, Arthur Rubinstein, the Empress Eugenia de Montijo, the kings Alfonso XIII and Victoria Eugenia, Jackie Kennedy, the princes of Monaco, among many others. Birthplace of the poet Antonio Machado.
