THE LARGEST AND GREENEST ZOOLOGICAL PARK IN THE NORTH OF PORTUGAL.
10 minutes from the center of Porto, more precisely in Vila Nova de Gaia, is the Zoo Santo Inácio, the largest and greenest zoological park in the north of the country.
The active participation in the Conservation of Nature, especially of the Species that are Endangered of Extinction, constitutes the great and noble mission of the Zoo Santo Inácio.
The Santo Inácio Zoo houses about 600 animals of 200 species, more than 40 of which are part of European Programs for the Reproduction of Endangered Species, involving more than 142 animals and having already favored the birth of countless young.
WILD LIFE IN RECREATED NATURAL HABITATS.
All accepted species live in green and spacious environments, designed to recreate the original habitats, providing them with the best comfort conditions so that they can remain healthy and with genuine behaviors
