The museum has 12 permanent exhibition rooms on the historical trajectory of the country; and another 22 that recreate the use of the Castle and its rooms during its most iconic periods, such as the rooms of Maximiliano and Carlota and those of President Porfirio Díaz, as well as a room that recalls the assault on the Castle of Chapultepec.
