The main attraction of the park is the Póas volcano, a complex and very active stratovolcano that reaches 2708 meters above sea level, and one of the main peaks of the country. It is considered one of the most important eruptive centers of Costa Rica and one of the natural wonders of the country. In turn, the park that shelters it is the most visited nationwide.
