Overview

    Fushimi-Inari Taisha is famous for its thousands of vermilion torii gates. You offer prayers at the main hall of the Shrine according to Shinto style, after purifying yourself with water.
    After watching 1000 torii gate, we enter Sanjusangendo. Sanjusangendo temple is famous for its 1001 statues of Kannon, the goddess of mercy. Measuring 120 meters, the temple hall is Japan's longest wooden structure.
    Next, we go to a long-established Japanese confectionery shop.
    You will taste one of the Japanese cakes together with a cup of green tea.
    Finally we go to Hanami Koji of Gion which is one of the old geisha districts.
    I give you an explanation about the maiko and geiko (geisha) there.
    That's all!
    You can visit the representative Shinto shrine and temple of Kyoto.
    You look forward to a Japanese sweet and the tea break to taste at the traditional Japanese sweets shop.
    And finally, you can enjoy walking around Gion. This is the most valuable a half day Kyoto tour.
