This morning, camels will be waiting for you at the entrance of Little Petra (9km north of Petra's Visitors' Center) at 8:00 am. Mount up & begin your 1hr long trek towards the back entrance. When the camels can go no further, dismount & hike the rest of the way with a local Bedouin from the Ammarin tribe.
Your first site will be the Monastery (Al Deir), Petra’s largest carved facade. Feel like you discover Petra yourself as you & your group will enter the site far from all other tourists. When you arrive at the Monastery your Bedouin escort will leave you to explore the rest of Petra yourself. You will then end your day by exiting out the main entrance by the Siq, arriving at Petra's Visitors' Center.
