Excursion Fascinating bridges of Bruges

Duration

clock3 hours

Overview

The city is waiting for tourists who want to plunge into the times associated with the era of the high and late Middle Ages (XII-XV centuries). A small population of the city receives millions of tourists annually.
We will make a fascinating journey through the streets of the city, which is sometimes called the “Venice of the North” due to the fact that its entire space is literally penetrated by deep channels. They were able to pass large sea vessels, despite the fact that the city was 17 kilometers from the sea coast. It is believed that the name of the city came from the Dutch word "Brugge" - "bridge". Now the city has more than fifty bridges, of which 12 are movable.
