Duration

clock5 to 6 hours

Overview

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the heart of the Itria Valley, Alberobello is one of the most famous cities in Puglia, due to its characteristic dwellings made with dry stones, without the use of mortar, called "Trulli".
Walking through the alleys of the ancient village, it will be like catapulting into another reality, a fantastic village that seems to be the fruit of imagination. But here it is all true. A small village full of colors, shapes and symbols of tradition that come alive today as in the past.
Among the numerous trullo houses, the Trullo Siamese and the trullo church dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua stand out.
Immediately after discovering this delightful town you will go to Cisternino, 30 minutes away from Alberobello, to visit a fantolio and find out all about the production of Pugliese extra virgin olive oil.
On request it is possible to add a visit to the historic center of Cisternino.
