What To Expect

This is a typical itinerary for this product:

Stop At: Sharm El Sheikh, Sharm El Sheikh, South Sinai, Red Sea and Sinai

You will be picked up from your hotel in the evening and will travel by car for 3 hours to the foot of Mount Moses. You can take a break there to have something to eat or drink. Afterwards, you start an approximately 3.5-hour climb up to the top of Mosesberg. It is possible to cover part of the route on a camel (at extra cost). The last 700 steps must be done on foot. When you reach the summit, you can admire a breathtaking sunrise over the mountains of Sinai. On your way down you visit the Catherine Monastery which is considered one of the oldest Christian monasteries in operation and has ever been the smallest diocese in the world; besides having some manuscripts that are very valuable for Christian religion studies. After descending easier, visit The Kathrinen Monastery with its mosaics, iconic collection and art masterpieces acclaimed worldwide before returning back to Sharm el Sheikh and being transferred to your booked hotel in Sharm El Sheik.
