Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product:

Stop At: Fayoum Oasis, Al Fayyum Egypt

We'll start off by heading southwards to witness the rich landscape of the Fayoum Oasis. This place is not a mere figment of imagination, but an actual destination!

The oasis spans out over a large area situated close to the canals of the Nile River. Ancient Egyptians were well-aware of its significance and that is proven by the Meidum Pyramid, one of the oldest pharaonic pyramids from around 2,600 BC.

Then we'll continue on towards Fayoum city before coming to Lake Qarun - an important part of the Oasis which lies below sea level and has a surface area that measures several hundred square kilometres. Here at Kasr Qarun archaeological site, you will be able to explore temples and fortifications from various periods in history.

Once our stomachs are growling, we'll stop for some lunch by Lake Qarun where you can observe its abundant local fauna and bird life. After taking everything in during this memorable day trip, we will begin our return journey back to Cairo's hotels in time for dinner.
