Before I decide where to visit as a local, I called my local friend from Suzou, Then we start a experice to have sth. bit different with more depth but local way.
Suzhou is not even a capital city but ranked top 5 or top 7 in China's GDP. There is something behind this city's cuture.
So we start from a boat trip in the ancient 1000 years history canal. And walk along the river see experience the local ppl's real life. Then try a rickshaw. This is the life same as 20 years ago.
Then we select one of the garden for real local ppl. Just quiet.And really can feel a piece of relax in the garden more then just a travel visit.
At the end, take a short subway to the East Mall of Suzhou, Fabulous architect. This contrary of suzhou, is another way to show the richness, able to preserve the whole old city style and the modern city style both.
A perfect day hang as a friend.
