Overview

Go deep sea fishing and take the fish you catch! You never know what may be at the end of the fishing line, but some common fish in the area depending on the seasons are cod, pollock, mackerel and herring. Learn about the local environment, the history of the fishing industry in Lofoten, and fillet the fish on board. Vestfjorden has a healthy and rich ecosystem of marine life that is well managed. The water is clean, the air is fresh, and we take care of the fish quickly so that they do not suffer for long. If the conditions are right, we will put out the sails and sail with the wind. We have all the fishing gear you need (we use fishing poles) and there is complimentary coffee, tea, water, cookies, and wifi onboard. There are two spacious outer decks, and a large warm saloon inside. The boat, S/Y Stella Oceana is 118 tons, 32 meters long, and 5 meters wide. It is an ice class ship and is extremely stable, safe, comfortable, and spacious.
