    Get picked up from your hotel and drive to a nearby medieval village for a day of local wine and food tastings and a peaceful boat ride.

    Start your tour with a coffee tasting at a local coffee roaster. With a bit of caffeine in your system, move on to a tasting of homemade walnut and hazelnut oil at an oil mill that dates back to the 19th century. Listen as the oil-maker brings the mill alive with his stories and his passion for his trade. Then it's on to a wine tasting of some local Savoy wines before heading to lunch in a rustic inn.

    After lunch, board an electric boat for a relaxing cruise on the lazy river that runs by the village. Let your guide introduce you to the native flora and fauna of this pristine ecosystem as you make your way to Lake Bourget for some panoramic views of the mountains backing the placid water.

    Head back to the port for a chocolate and beer tasting and stroll the streets of the charming village before returning to your accommodation.
