Overview

    Meet our friendly staff at the meeting point in the center of Seoul , after that you will have a day with full of knowledge about the Korea history.

    It will take about 2 hours to get to Cheorwon and the first stop is Memorial Tower of Baengmagoji Battlefield and Memorial Museum, which you can know more about the Baengma Battlefield.

    Then will go to the Goseokjeong National Tourist Area which is the most scenic spots among the eight scenic views of Cheorwon. After that, will have Korean Table D'hote for lunch which is included in the tour fee.

    In the afternoon, you will get the DMZ tour into the area of 2nd Tunnel, Cheorwon Peace Observatory, Woljeong-ri Station and Cheorwon Korean Workers' Party Headquarters. You will be guided by the professional English speaking guide and know more abour the Korean war and the background.

    Finally will get back to Seoul around 6:30pm to 7:00pm.

What to Expect

    The Cheorwon DMZ tour will visit several places, including the Labor Party Building, the 2nd Tunnel, the Battlefield of the White Horse Hill, and the Peace Observatory. The Labor Party building was actually used by North Korea in the past, and there are lots of marks of bullets during the Korean War, so you can feel the vividness of the war. The second tunnel is a tunnel dug by the North Korean military to sneak into the South and is always full of tension. So, there are some days that people can't visit due to the national security situation. The Battlefield of the White Horse Hill is the place where the fiercest battle took place in the Korean War, and there are still many remains that have not been found.
