Overview

    During the journey you will make a stop where they give you time to have a breakfast (not included), then your first visit will be to the Cascadas de Agua Azul biosphere reserve, where you can walk among the flora and fauna of the region, as well as appreciate the numerous waterfalls that give rise to the formation of natural pools of unequaled beauty, since they have a beautiful color and are surrounded by abundant vegetation. Continue your journey towards the Misol-Há Waterfall and its meaning is "waterfall", which has a height of approximately 25 meters and that when falling forms a pool. The last point to visit will be the archaeological zone of Palenque, one of the most famous places in Chiapas and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO; Within this site you will be able to know the temples of La Calavera, Reina Roja, El Palacio, etc. At the end you will start the return depending on the city you have chosen, Tuxtla Gutiérrez or San Cristóbal de las Casas.

What to Expect

    Pick up time starts at 04:00 am, we will pick you up at your hotel, the pick up time lasts 30 minutes. Our first stop is the Agua Azul waterfalls, but before, we will go to the city of Ocosingo to have breakfast (not included), when we arrive to the Agua Azul waterfalls we will have enough time to walk around the place, swim and relax. Afterwards, we head to Misol Ha, this is a waterfall of approximately 40 meters. It is recommended that you do not go swimming and take advantage of this time to visit the grotto behind the waterfall. Lunch will be taken en route (not included). Afterwards, we continue to Palenque, to visit the archaeological site with a Spanish speaking guide in a tour of approximately 2 hours. We will leave Palenque at approximately 05:00 in the afternoon to arrive in San Cristobal around 10:00 at night. If you do not want to return, you can stay in Palenque and indicate the hotel where you will stay.
