Overview

    Shuttle with our knowledgeable guide from Queenstown to Arrowtown. Perhaps enjoy a pre-ride coffee, brunch and look around the quaint village of Arrowtown before you set off to ride at your own pace along the stunning Queenstown Trail to the shores of Lake Wakatipu and onward to Queenstown Bay.
    A great day out exploring our magnificent purpose built biking trails. A detailed map and full trail navigation is given at the start of your ride and we are contactable by phone throughout the day.
    Distance is 35kms if you bike directly to Queenstown or 45kms if you divert to see the Kawarau Bungy bridge.

    Departing Queenstown as follows:
    • SUMMER (1 October - 30 April): 9.00am & 1.00pm Departs Queenstown
    • WINTER (1 May - 30 September): 10.00am Departs Queenstown

What to Expect

    Head out on a scenic 25 minute shuttle from Queenstown to Arrowtown. There's the opportunity to explore Arrowtown and grab a coffee before starting you ride. The route first follows the stunning Arrow River Trail, crossing the river via a few spectacular bridges. From there you'll join the Twin Rivers Trail, which follows the the Kawarau and Shotover rivers to the shores of Lake Whakatipu, with a few bigger climbs on this section. This ride finishes back at our shop in central Queenstown (9 Duke Street). This is an awesome adventure day, and a great way to explore the purpose-built biking trails. A detailed map and full navigation is given at the start of your ride. The minimum riding distance is 35 km with a few decent hills. This ride is only for those who are confident and capable riders. E-bike upgrades are also recommended. Shuttle depart Queenstown as follows: • SUMMER (1 Sept - 30 Apr): 9:00 AM • WINTER (1 May - 31 Aug): 10:00 AM
