The tour departs from the bustling modern city of Denver. You will be transported from the city to the land of the ancient Red Rocks. We will hike the trails and enjoy the same views that attracted the early settlers, miners and of course the cowboys. We will also visit the world famous amphitheater set amidst the Red Rocks.
After our hike we will drive through the Rockies to the Phoenix Gold Mine. We will tour the mine and test our luck at panning for gold in the river. Anything you find is yours to keep!
From there, we will head to the Bison Preserve in Genesee park. Visit the descendents of the Bison that roamed here long before the first settlers. Not too far from the Bison lies the gravesite and museum of one of Colorado’s most famous settlers Buffalo Bill. Learn all about this bison hunter, army scout and world renowned showman.
Finally, we will enjoy a scenic drive down the beautiful winding Lariat’s Loop road to Windy Saddle Park and Golden, Colorado
