Overview

Making our first stop at Cristo Rei for great views over Lisbon. It was from Belém that most of the great Portuguese explorers embarked on their overseas voyages to discover the world, so we will take you on a journey of discovery through its monuments and history. You will have free time to explore the Monastery of Jerónimos and we will make stops to see the Belém Tower and the Discoveries Monument, without forgetting to taste delicious and world-famous traditional pastry: the “Pastel de Belém”. Feel free to discover a giant atelier full of galleries, traditional restaurants, design shops and concert halls. After lunch we will do a short sightseeing, heading to Parque das Nações, the striking modern side to historic and traditional Lisbon, which extends along the northeastern side of the Tejo Estuary. It has since been reborn into a glass and steel district, home to some wonderful examples of modern architecture as the Oceanarium, Vasco da Gama Tower, Atlantic Pavillion among others.
