Thanks to this full-day program, you will discover the two lakeside villages of Bellagio and Varenna, famous for their charming historic centers and residences, surrounded by lush parks.
Meeting with an authorized tour guide in Bellagio. Guided tour of the "pearl of the lake", located on the tip of a promontory at the end of a mountain range where the lake forks. Guided tour of the "English" gardens of Villa Melzi d'Eril, built between 1808 and 1810 for Francesco Melzi d'Eril (1753-1816), duke of Lodi, vice-president of the Italian Republic under Napoleon and then Grand Chancellor of Kingdom of Italy. Transfer to Varenna by public ferry.
Guided tour of the botanical terraced garden, where some botanical rarities, coming from all over the world, coexist thanks to the mild climate. Later visit to the private garden of Villa Cipressi, a 4 * hotel, in a mix of contemporary structures and ancient gardens. Aperitif in the garden.
Return to Bellagio by ferry.
