For all those who want to discover and savor the true traditions of the Lucca countryside from Lucca, continuing north we will move to Garfagnana where the landscape becomes greener and steeper, where you can enjoy some of the most beautiful panoramas in the area. Your driver will accompany you to Castelnuovo Garfagnana to see its traditional cobbled streets and one of the best preserved castles in the area, the Rocca Ariostesca. We will then reach Barga, a small ancient village located on a hill, full of charm, art and pleasure. Continuing our tour we will stop in an ancient pork butchery to discover the production and seasoning of the famous Garfagnini cured meats.
Do not miss a visit to the spa town of Bagni di Lucca with its Ponte delle Catene, one of the oldest iron bridges still existing in Europe.
On the way back, a short stop at the Devil's Bridge, to learn about its millenary history and legend.
