Enjoy participating in a traditional tea ceremony in a traditional tea ceremony room led by an authentic Kyoto geisha(maiko). Your tea ceremony host will be a geisha (maiko) who will introduce you to this Japanese ritual.
This ticket includes free kimono wearing. It is optional to wear the kimono. If you want to wear the kimono please go to KIMONO Tea Ceremony Maikoya anytime after 11:00 AM. (It takes at least 30 minutes to put on Kimono, so please come to our place at least 30 minutes bofore your reservation time) The walking distance between the kimono venue and the geisha tea ceremony venue is approximately 15 minutes on foot. You can keep the kimono up to 7 hours. You are going to have to return the kimono to the same venue before 6:30PM.
This ticket includes free Gion walking tour. It is optional to join the walking tour. We have two walking tours starting at 14:00 pm and 17:00 pm taking off from Geisha Experience Gion MAIKO CHAYA. You can join whichever tour you'd like.
