In this trip, you will travel in one of the remains of the 5 lakes that used to be in Mexico City, letting us look at an example of the original landscape of Mexico City. We will do an imaginary travel in the time beginning in the pre colombian era, following the spanish conquest of the Mexica Empire and finally the modern times. In all this explanation, the thematic thread will be the floating gardens (chinampas), an amazing traditional agriculture system.
When we arrive to the chinampa, we will explain the methods of organic farming that we work with, which are a combination of the traditional knowledge of the chinamperia agriculture and agroecological science.
