Take in the excitement & beauty of nature and the culture of Turkey. Enjoy a full-day off the beaten track seeing this picturesque area of Oymap-nar dam (built on Manavgat river) area where is called green canyon.
About Green Canyon:
The Oymapinar dam is situated 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) north of Manavgat. Constructed between 1977-1984 it is now the fifth largest dam in Turkey, and the only one to offer boat and fishing trips. When it was completed it was the third largest dam in Turkey, meanwhile, other dams have been built and it has moved down to fifth place.
Further we will visit a small zoo excluding enterence fee (€ 3,- pp)
Kids love this place.
After the zoo we will eat Gözleme (Turkish Pancake) at a local restaurant. (Excluded, it's up to you if you want).
Panoramic view of Green Canyon, on our way back there are local sellers where you can buy ice-cream or cold drinks.
Kids under 7 who are free sit on your laps, when they need their own lunch they pay extra.
