Overview

Güiráoga (“House of birds” in guaraní language) is a shelter of the Misiones province for animals that have been hit on the roads or hurt out there in their natural habitat.

The re-entry of the animals in the jungle is our objective and everyday goal. To guarantee their survival out in the jungle, we make sure they are strong enought to handle it.

You are invited to walk around the shelter and see every of the aeras that are part of our daily work: the veterinary section, the quarantine and the nutrition aerea, that is the heart of the shelter, where we prepare all the food for the animals. Then, around the rehab sites, animals start their recovery sharing outdoor spaces with each others. They behavior let us know if they are ready to go back to the jungle. You'll also see the captivity aerea, where we take care of recent born animals and go alone with them.

Thanks to our activities, we help maintening our environmental duty.
