(23 Reviews )

Duration

clock3 to 4 hours

Overview

This trip is designed in such a way that it helps travelers to explore the local lifestyle of people in Kathmandu including one of the most visited UNESCO enlisted heritage sites and the rest of all the equally interesting but less explored sites of Kathmandu & Bhaktapur city.

Boudhanath Stupa is one of the biggest Stupas in South Asia. The giant Stupa is a gateway to heaven serving as a horizon between the earth and sky. The eyes of Buddha painted on Stupa are diversely described as mysterious, impassive, empathy & shrewd. Nawatan Dham, a less explored site but rich in cultural value is a holy shrine of Hindus. Nagadesh is an old city in Bhaktapur that holds ancient values. Shankha Statue park is in the old city Patan, at the bank of Bagmati river. It is a peaceful & fun place to visit.

We make sure that who picks this short trip, will not only explore the sites but also learn the culture, lifestyle of people & other shades & sides of Kathmandu & Bhaktapur. Enjoy the trip!
