It starts with Monreale. Going up Monte Caputo, you arrive at the town that offers from its terraces unique panoramas over the Conca D'Oro, where the city of Palermo stands. You immediately come across the Duomo, one of the most beautiful testimonies of the Norman Arab style in Sicily. Inside you will be struck by the luminous majesty of the Byzantine-style Christ Pantocrator and the treasures kept on the upper floor. Not far from the Cathedral it is easy to reach the Cloister, it is the most complete Romanesque sculpture monument in Sicily.
The next stop is Cefalù. Moving about 100 km, we reach the town on the sea. The narrow streets of the historic center, which offer at every angle glimpses of the sea, old houses, balconies full of Sicilian flowers and scents, will lead you to the main square where the Cathedral stands, another wonderful monument of Arab Norman style in Sicily.
