    We are spoilt by hiking routes in Wadi Rum, these two hikes are great for experience for active travellers with a moderate level of fitness.

    Rakhabat Canyon Hi
    You will hike Rakhabat Canyon crossing into Um Ishrin valley - the canyon offers an abundance of shade from the desert sun. When you reach Um Ishrin Valley you will enjoy a picnic lunch before contuning on foot passing towering sand dunes and enjoying quiet valleys before circling back towards Rum Village.

    Burdah Arch Hike
    This trip starts with a short 4x4 drive to the base of Jebel Burdah. Our guide will show you the best route to reach the arch - there are some steep sections. EnWhen you reach te arch, you will have time to enjoy the views, take photographs. We return to the bottom for lunch in a quiet and shaded spot. This hike takes about 3 hours to climb and descend. Continue the afternoon by 4x4 visiting Wadi Rum valley sites.

What to Expect

    The day starts at Wadi Rum Rest House and you'll take a scenic one-hour drive across the desert to reach the base of the mountain. The hiking trail begins in a sandy valley and gradually becomes steeper, with a distinctive trail leading up to the summit. The trail is rocky and you'll follow the guide to the top. The panoramic views from the top are breathtaking. The round-trip hike takes around 2-3 hours, offering a great workout and a chance to experience the natural beauty of the area. Once back down, you'll enjoy lunch in the shade. In the afternoon, we continue by 4X4 across Wadi Saabit Valley known for its endless red sand and peaceful atmosphere.
