Overview

We have a fantastic city just south of us named after a city in Italy – VENICE! This culinary walking tour takes you along streets that are rich in architecture and history. Learn about Thomas Edison’s frequent visits there and the early social life of Venice, how the intracoastals were dredged, how the Megalodon (meaning “big tooth”) swam in local waters over two million years ago, and why (we think) Ponce de Leon died nearby – WHEW!

Of course a key component of Key Culinary Tours is the delectable food, and we enjoy several stops at Venice restaurants and specialty shops along the way. Our food samples are enough for a meal and your tour is peppered with interesting and fun facts about the area and its history. This food tour is truly a delicious way to learn about Venice, Florida and its creative cuisine scene.
