Overview

    Diocletian's Palace and historical center of Split were listed on UNESCO World Heritage List since 1979, as a unique structure with continued, 17 centuries long life.
    Tour starts by the scaled model of Split old town at Riva promenade, followed by visiting Diocletian's Palace's substructures, former imperial residence in the southern part of the Palace, and central square Peristyle. After that we will tour northern section of the Palace with medieval buildings, including former Jewish Ghetto. Areas around the Palace are equally interesting, with main square locally known as Piazza, Prokurative square and Fruit square. You will also learn about life in Split during its history, with influences from different cultures, from ancient Greece till today.
    Optionally, we can add full tour of the Diocletian's Palace Basement Halls, visit to the Cathedral of Saint Domnius, once the Emperor Diocetian's mausoleum, as well as Jupiter's Temple. Tickets are not included
