What To Expect

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product:

Begin with an early morning pickup from your central Luxor hotel or cruise ship, and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the launch site on the west bank of the Nile River. Enjoy a light pre-flight snack and refreshments, then receive a comprehensive safety briefing before stepping into the balloon's basket with your expert pilot and several other passengers. Feel your adrenaline surge as you rise into the still-dark sky for around 30 to 45 minutes.

Soak up aerial views of Luxor as dawn breaks and marvel at Queen Hatshepsut's Temple glowing in the sunrise. Look eastward to see Karnak Temple pillars greeting the morning sun, and turn westward to admire Colossi of Memnon standing tall among nearby fields. If conditions are favorable, you may even drift over Ramesseum – Pharaoh Ramses II's funerary temple – while viewing its pylons, statues and courtyards from above.

Throughout your flight, a ground support van will be following you; it will be there when you land after your safe touchdown. Step back onto land to receive your personal flight certificate and souvenir before returning to central Luxor via air-conditioned vehicle.
