This point is a vent of the Totumo volcano, which is between the departments of Atlántico and Bolívar. The appearance of this volcano dates from approximately 30 years ago and during these three decades this exotic site has given its healing properties to many tourists.
The crater was created by the gases emanating from the earth and filled with mud to offer the natural properties for skin health.
