Overview

Experience the native Guarani culture in a unique indigenous community that protects the forest inside the biggest metropolis of South America; talk to young leaderships of the community at the Opy -- the traditional Guarani praying temple, and count on a multilingual guide to translate all your questions; make your own Xondaro Fighting Dance move, explore the beautiful and dense Atlantic forest that we have left in the city and is protected by the indigenous guaranis, the guardians of the forest. After getting in touch with the Guarani culture and sacred land, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of São Paulo from its highest peak, the Jaraguá, with 1135 meters of altitude, the Jaragua Peak offers visitors the most amazing panorama of São Paulo (with a view that reaches up to 55 km). The park was declared in 1983 by Condephaat and in 1994 as World Heritage Site by Unesco. The park also has a historical house, a lake, and three trails.
