Ocean kayak & snorkel to Isla Chora is one of the most popular tours in Samara! The small island about a 25-45 minute paddle off the beach of Playa Samara depending on where you start. You will discover a secluded beach with amazing views back to Samara and the mountains behind it.
You will enjoy reefs teeming with tropical fish and be offered beverages and fresh fruits. Some local wildlife will likely be curious and visit you: the large iguanas and raccoons.
The bilingual guide will take you snorkeling near the island. The waters around Samara are safe for the whole family. Tours are done when the tide is low. Don’t forget your camera, sunblock, and bathing suit.
Pick up at most hotels and VRBO's around Samara and Carrillo Beach within a 10 mile /16 km radius. Pickups are NOT offered for all of the Guanacaste province. Pickup is ONLY offered if you are staying near Samara and Carrillo Beach. Please note that the "canton", or state, of Carrillo is different than Carrillo Beach.
