Tastings are:
* Dondurma is the delicious local ice-cream. A little different to western-style ice-creams.
* Kofte ekmek is turkish fast food made with meatballs with its own unique flavors and compiled with ekmek (turkish bread) and salad.
* Ayran is a yogurt drink.
* Sut misir, chestnuts and simit are traditional walk away snacks found in every corner of street. Simit is a circular bread, typically encrusted with sesame seeds or, less commonly, poppy, flax or sunflower seeds.
*Tea is an important part of Turkish culture, and is the most commonly consumed hot drink, despite the country's long history of coffee consumption.
* Börek is a family of baked filled pastries made of a thin flaky dough
* Baklava is the mother of modern day pastry.
