Overview

    Iximche is a fascinating place. Visitors will be able to see the old
    pyramids built by the Maya, and some of the most active Altars where modern Maya use to perform ancient rituals and burn offerings to their supernatural ancestors.

    Afterwards, we will be visiting one of the Main cheese farms of Chimaltenango Department. Includes a tasting of the artisans cheese made with jersey cows milk.

What to Expect

    Iximche is a remarkable location. Visitors will be able to see the ancient pyramids that the Maya constructed as well as some of the busiest altars that the contemporary Maya use to carry out ceremonies from long ago and burn offerings to their supernatural ancestors. After that, we'll go to Paseo Xejasmin, a fantastic location surrounded by nature. In the center of the forest, this location offers a variety of entertaining activities. We're rather confident that you'll make the most of today. In the second part of the tour in Paseo Xejasmin, you'll ride a canopy over the forest, visit a small go-kart track for fun with the little ones at home, and if anyone in the family enjoys horses, have a ride on horseback while being escorted by a guide to ensure your safety. This tour is intended for families and will make sure that everyone in the family, including the smallest members, will enjoy the outdoor activities in this park.
