Visit to Ephesus - Access the Magnesia Gate and start a leisurely descent with your guide through the ruins of this Roman provincial capital. Your route will lead you past the Odeon, the Celsus Library, the Temple of Hadrian, the Fountain of Trajan and the Great Theater. The theater offered space for 24,000 people and is believed to be where St. Paul preached to the Ephesians; it is used today for a local spring festival.

House of Virgin Mary - The Vatican has acknowledged this small house in the Solmissos Mountains as being where the Virgin Mary passed away. A tiny shrine committed to St. Mary was found when initially exploring its ruins.
