Jodhpur is known for the palaces, forts and temples in the midst of the stark Thar Desert of Rajasthan. It is hailed as the “Blue City” for the blue-painted houses in the older part of the fort town. Jodhpur’s key attraction is the 15th century Mehrangarh Fort, an architectural masterpiece made of red sandstone, perched on a rocky cliff 125 m above the cities’ skyline. Around the base, the town is a cultural hotpot of temples and bazaars, selling traditional
clothes, antique items, and Jodhpuri shoes, the Jodhpuri mojari.
We take you to visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, Mehrangarh Museum, and the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park.
