Experience a magical, delightful day at Junibacken - where children and adults have the chance to experience a fantasy world together!
Junibacken was built in 1996 on the initiative of Astrid Lindgren and is a perfect excursion for families with children in the age of 0-8 years old.
Come and enjoy the spectacular pecularities of Villa Villekulla or take a ride with The Story Train through the fabulous stories of Astrid Lindgren (available in 15 languages). Hop off at Pippi’s House and experience the play Pippi moves in (Pippi flyttar in), performed by a children’s ensemble. Here you'll see Tommy and Annika’s first, amazing encounter with Pippi Longstocking.
Junibacken also has Stockholm’s largest bookshop for children with lots of foreign titles and fun memorabilia.
Finish up your visit with a homemade cinnamon bun from Junibacken's own restaurant while you decide which book you'll be diving into next.
