Nanheng (Taiwan Provincial Road No. 20) connects from Tainan Yujing, passes through Kaohsiung Jiaxian, Liugui, Bora, Taoyuan, and passes through Yushan National Park, then reaches Taitung Guanshan. The magnificent scenery has become a popular tourist site. In year 2009 the typhoon hits pretty hard as a result of closed reconstruction for more than ten years. Finally, the Highway Bureau announced to re-open the essence of Meishankou to Tianchi on January 13th, which can reach Tianchi, Changchun Temple, Zhongzhiguan Ancient Road and other attractions.
