Past the Rursee over the Kermeter, through the national park and over the "Path of Silence", our guide keeps on telling interesting facts from the history on and around the Kermeter. Local stories make this approx. 11km long hike special, because you experience and hike through the beauty of the Rureifel region.
    The Kermeter is a hill on the Rursee and is located in the middle of the Eifel National Park. This mountain range is covered with an oak and beech forest and will amaze you with its wild beauty.
    There is a lot to tell on this hike, because there are many stories to tell. The guide will tell you at the various stops, why e.g. the Meuchelberg or the church in Schmidt is called "St. Mokka".
