This tour includes the two contrasting islands, Kohama and Taketomi.
After leaving Ishigaki Port our first stop is Kohama Port on the island of Kohama. This peaceful island became famous as the setting for a popular Japanese `soap` opera, Chura San, and the house within the village where the program was set is in the local traditional Okinawa style. Another film setting was Sugar Road, so called as it is bordered by sugar cane fields. The island itself has a number of vantage points, including Ufudaki, a 99m high hill with a great view of Kohama and the surrounding islands.
IMPORTANT: Our tours start from Ishigaki Island, not Okinawa main land.
It takes one hour by air from Naha airport OKA to Ishigaki airport ISG.
