Overview

    The Tonle Sap is called the 'great lake' and is one of the two main topographical features of Cambodia. During the rainy season it can swell from 3,000 square kilometres to 7500 square kilometres. Tonle Sap is also one of the world’s richest sources of freshwater fish. Today we drive 30 minutes to the departure point at Chong Khneas village and cruise along a canal, past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants and even a hospital. See fishing nets being mended, children swimming and playing, floating pigpens and even crocodile enclosures.

    After visit Kompong Phluk, We will start to visit Roluos Group Temple.

What to Expect

    . Battambang City : For nearly 100 years it was a major commercial hub and provincial capital of Siamese province of Inner Cambodia (1795-1907), though it was always populated.Battambang is a classically quaint provincial capital – old-world architecture and even older pagodas set picturesquely along a river. . The bamboo train: is a bumpy but fun once in a life time experience. It can speed up to 30 mph on its 1 gauge track, The bamboo train rolls around a few curves and moves on for about 10 minutes before coming to rest at another station, . Phnom Sampov : is a limestone mountain and important religious site located in Battambang Province, Khmer sculptors hand carve Buddha statue at Sampov Mountain in Battambang ... He said that the Buddha statue carved on the wall of Phnom Sampov. The bat caves is population is so high it can take upwards of 20 minutes for the cave to clear. Once they’re out, it’s amazing to watch the animals streak across the sky.
