This tour combines the amazing natural beauty of Konavle Valley, world class wines, rich history and superb traditional food!
Only a short drive from Dubrovnik (circa 30-40 min) on a spectacular seaside road there is Konavle, a hidden gem and natural beauty, compared to Chianti by many, where wines have been made for centuries!
The first stop is a visit to Sokol Grad. Sokol Grad is a large defensive medieval castle close to the Croatian-Bosnian border and commands truly spectacular views!
After that, we will go to a local agro tourism farm for a wine tasting and lunch.Guided tasting of 4 wines.
A three course lunch to follow will be a big local speciality called “Peka”, an iron bell where meat and vegetable are cooked whilst covered in fire for a long time, fish or vegetarian options are available too and wines with lunch made by the farm, white and red!
